ANITA sails into the Pearle Crawford Library

On Monday, November 10, 2025, eight members of ANITA’s crew visited the Dudley Public Library as guest readers for a fun evening of sharing our story, handing out ANITA stickers, and offer coloring activities. About 20 community members attended to hear ANITA’s story, ask questions, and learn about her design features—including the sensor box, solar panels, and GPS system.

A Few Familiar Faces

Mr. Provost, a longtime supporter of ANITA, invited several students from his eighth-grade Spanish classes to help translate the book. These students have volunteered to meet after school to work collaboratively on the project. Jaxon, Victor, and Lucas are three members of ANITA’s crew whose language skills are being put to the test through this challenge.

Student Leadership Conference Tuesday March 10, 2026 Student Leadership Conference Tuesday March 10, 2026

We're excited to offer an incredible opportunity for our students: a half-day conference designed to inspire and empower them to positively impact the culture and climate at our school. We will hear from keynote speakers and collaborate with students from across New England, giving our students the chance to think creatively, set goals, and strive for excellence.

We will Go ALL IN on our school’s climate and culture at this half-day conference! Jostens Education Specialist, Dr. Phillip Campbell (PC) and Keynote Speaker, Carlos Ojeda Jr. (Chu), will energize the school culture-building work of adult and student school leaders through inspiration, insights, and proven ideas. By the end of the day, we’ll walk away with a clear plan of action for creating a joyful culture that encourages academic achievement, strengthens character development and increases morale. Check out the video below to catch a glimpse of what we'll experience.
