LEADERSHIP MESSAGE
Welcome to St. Patrick School! On behalf of the entire school community, we extend a warm welcome to all of our families. As your administrative team, Mrs. Michelle Nanias (Principal) and Mrs. Mindy Wilcox (Assistant Principal), we are thrilled to be back and leading our school family once again.
Our dedicated teachers and staff have been thoughtfully preparing, planning, and praying for your children. Your children are in wonderful hands, and we are deeply grateful for your continued trust and for our strong, supportive school community.
This year marks the final year of our three-year divisional theme, ROOTED IN CHRIST: "I am the vine, you are the branches … bear much fruit and become my disciples." (John 15:5, 8). Our focus for this upcoming school year is "SENT". Together, we will strengthen our faith and connection with Jesus while sharing our gifts through good deeds and the Good News across our school and local community. We look forward to growing together in faith and fellowship.
To help you stay connected throughout the year, a weekly newsletter will be emailed to families at the end of each week.We invite you to join us for two upcoming key events:
Meet the Staff Night: Sep 10 6:30 PM in the gym. Come tour the school and meet your child's teacher.
Opening School Mass: Sep 16 9:30 AM at Stoney Creek Centre. This special outdoor mass will bring together all three Camrose EICS schools for a wonderful start to the school year.
We look forward to connecting with each of your families in the days ahead!

DROP OFF/PICK UP PROCEDURES
STUDENT ENTRANCES
Please use the following designated entrances for your child. See MAP in PDF below.
These entrances are to be used for morning arrival (drop-off), recesses, and departure (pick-up) in the afternoon. The front entrance will be designated for our PRE-K and ECS students.
South Front entrance- PRE-K, Kindergarten
N.East entrance (Gr. 3/4 portable wing) 3E, 3B, 3G
S.East entrance (directly adjacent to STAFF parking lot) 2G, 2L,2M
North entrance (Gr. 3/4 portable wing) 4W, 4R, 4W/C
West entrance (Gr. 1 wing) 1BAK,1BAS, 1F
ARRIVAL
Students who arrive on the bus will go directly to their designated entrances where they will see a marked pylon. Students who get dropped off by families should arrive no earlier than 8:20 and proceed to entrance area. Students will wait in their area until their teacher signals them into the boot room. With rain/inclement weather, staff will be available to expedite this process where students would access classrooms earlier.
PLEASE NOTE: We have NO OUTSIDE SUPERVISION available earlier than 8:20 am so please do not drop off your child before that.
**Late students will be required to enter through the front doors. Proceed directly to office to check in.**
DEPARTURE
Under the direction of their teacher students will be dismissed at the end of the day. Bus students will report directly to respective bus line-ups and parents picking children up can wait outside of entrance or at a designated meeting spot (arranged with your child).
NO PICK UP/DROP OFF FROM THE STAFF PARKING LOT
Please make alternate plans for pick-up/drop-off location as our Staff parking lot is no longer available as an option. This area has become far too congested in the past and is an extreme OH&S concern. Please look at streets/locations that are close to your child's designated entrance where you can safely guide them. While we understand that this takes away some convenience, we are more concerned about the safety of your children. Please see the attached pic showing some highlighted safe alternative considerations for drop-off/pick-up.
