Bulldog Blast

Bulldog Families,

There is a LOT happening around Memorial right now, and I have to admit… I love this time of year! The weather is finally beginning to feel a little more like fall, our students are busy doing what they do best, and there is so much Bulldog pride throughout our building and community. Here are a few things happening that you definitely don't want to miss!

🏈 Friday Night Lights: Bulldogs vs. Bixby

Don't forget that our Bulldogs take on Bixby tonight! Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m., and we would love to see the stadium packed and rocking. These are the nights that make high school special with students, families, alumni, staff, and our entire community coming together to cheer on our Bulldogs. Bring your Bulldog spirit, bring your voice, and let's make tonight a great one!

🎭 Puffs Has Opened to RAVE Reviews!

If you missed opening night of Puffs last night, you missed a fantastic evening of theatre! The show opened to rave reviews, and our students absolutely knocked it out of the park. The good news? You still have two opportunities to see this fantastic production! Performances are tonight and tomorrow night, with both shows beginning at 7:00 p.m. Our theatre students and directors have put an incredible amount of time, energy, creativity, and heart into this production. If you are looking for something fun to do this evening or tomorrow night, come support our students and enjoy a great show!

🎺 Good Luck to the Bulldog Marching Band!

This Saturday, our Bulldog Marching Band heads to Union for a marching band contest, and we couldn't be more proud of this incredible group of students. These students have spent countless hours rehearsing, refining, sweating, adjusting, and doing it all over again to prepare for the contest season. The dedication and commitment required to be part of a competitive marching band are tremendous, and it is exciting to see all of that hard work come together on the field. Good luck to our Bulldog Band!

🍂 Fall Break Is Almost Here!

And finally, a reminder that Fall Break is next week! There will be no school Thursday, Friday, or Monday.

We hope everyone takes advantage of the long weekend to slow down, spend some time with family and friends, recharge, and enjoy a little of this wonderful end-of-summer-ish weather we are having. Our students and staff have been working incredibly hard, and a few days to breathe, relax, and reset are well deserved.

When we return, we'll be ready to hit the ground running and continue what has already been a tremendous school year.

Have a fantastic weekend, enjoy Fall Break, and as always…

Go Dogs!
