SHOTWELL MIDDLE SCHOOL (An IB World School)

2021-2022 SCHOOL-PARENT COMPACT

What is the School-Parent Compact?

Shotwell’s parents, scholars/students, and staff worked together and shared ideas to develop the School-Parent Compact. Teachers met with their subject-area teams to design practical strategies for parents to use at home. Parents provided valuable feedback, during various meetings, regarding their need to help their scholars be successful in school and beyond. Scholars completed a survey to add ideas for the compact. Meetings are held each year to review and revise the compact based on the school’s academic achievement goals and our scholars’ needs. Parents are always encouraged to provide feedback on the compact at anytime during the school year. This year, members of our MOMS & DADS, parent organizations, were on hand to assist with the review and revision of the campus compact document. All feedback will be collected and reviewed during the annual revision meeting with parents. Please call Mrs. Moody-Dickerson, FACE Liaison, at (281)878-0960 or visit our website at: ShotwellMS.AldineISD.org
