• Drop-off begins at the gym at 7:00am.
• Please have your student ready to exit the car quickly to keep the arrival line moving
• Parents will not be permitted to walk students to class.
• If you arrive after 7:30am, please park in the upper VISITORS parking lot and walk your child to the front porch.
• Wait on the porch with your child until staff open the doors.
• Students may not be dropped off at the office prior to 7:25am.

🚗 Visitor Parking

If you need to park and walk your child to the front porch, please park in the UPPER parking lot. This helps keep traffic flowing and ensures safety for all students. Do not park in the fire lanes. And, do not park in the handicap parking spots unless your car has the designated tags. All students must have an adult walk with them to the front door.

DISMISSAL

● ALL CARS MUST HAVE A HANG TAG. Cars without hang tags will be redirected to the front office for pick up. You will need to show your identification to the office staff to get a hang tag.

● Students will be dismissed from their classrooms at 3:10pm and will go to the gym for parent pick up.

Please be reminded that any changes to your child's afternoon dismissal arrangements must be submitted in writing. For the safety and security of our students, we are unable to accept changes over the phone.

The preferred method is to send an email from the guardian email address listed in your child's Skyward account to RCES_Transportation@comalisd.org, prior to 1:00pm. Please note that all changes must be processed through the front office—do not send messages directly to your child's teacher.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

Additionally, we ask that changes to dismissal procedures be kept to a minimum. Frequent changes can be confusing for students, so please use this option only when absolutely necessary.

We are already having an extraordinary amount of daily transportation changes. Please know that a daily transportation change should only be happening if something has come up to prevent your child from going home their normal way.
