★ A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Families

As we wrap up an incredible school year, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to every parent and guardian in the Los Encinos family. Your unwavering support — from morning drop-offs to late-night homework help, from cheering on and supporting your children — everything makes all the difference.

We are so proud of every single boy and girl at this school, and we are equally proud of the families who stand behind them every step of the way. Thank you for trusting us with your most precious gift. You are the heart of everything we do!

We do need your help. We have too many students bringing toys to school. Squishys, stuffed animals, cars, anything that is a distraction or can get lost or broken is NOT allowed and will get taken up. Please leave these items at home.

ALSO, we need to remind everyone of the dress code. Crocs, sandals, boots, etc. are not allowed (unless their is a specific dress up day).

We are seeing students wearing very short skirts and shorts. Please wait until the summer for these outfits. We will call home if your child in not in dress code. *Please see the 2025-2026 Student Dress Code at the bottom of this newsletter.

Thank you families for ensuring your child arrives to school on time. We have seen a big dip in our attendance rate lately. We know it is hard going out in the cold, however, it is very toasty warm in our building. Every school day absent is a big loss of learning. Your students' success is very important to us. Our job is to ensure they are prepared for every possible dream they have. Students need to be in their classroom by 7:50 a.m. We are seeing an increase in tardies. Instruction starts right 7:50, please be on time.

* Here between 7:30-7:50 a.m. "I am on TIME!"

* Here between 7:51-8:05 a.m. "I am TARDY!"

Here after 8:06 a.m. "I am here partial day"

We are gearing up for a Magical Celebration! Next week we will be celebrating our AMAZING Eagle Staff. Our students can get involved in many ways, small treats/notes and dress up days. It should be a week FULL of fun. Thank you in advance for celebrating our hard working people.

Our cafeteria is open to our CCISD parents. We will follow the schedule as listed below. Please read carefully who is allowed to come on to campus during the lunch times. We do follow the guidelines provided in our District Parent/Student Handbook.
