The Lion's Roar
October 23, 2026
A Note From Mr. Hulsey:
As we are quickly progressing through the school year, I wanted to share some thoughts over the next few weeks in the newsletter about why Christian education is important. Having started as an educator in 1987 and working in six different public and Christian schools over the years, my favorite part of a Christian school is being able to teach an academic subject and teach it from a Biblical worldview at the same time.
When done well, that is a game changer for young people and their families. We have doubled down on our efforts with this over the last 16 months with new textbooks being purchased that include a Biblical worldview as well as teacher training to better bring to light the obvious evidence of a Creator as we teach all our subjects to all our grades
I hope that our families understand and appreciate all that our teachers are doing to teach classes to be both academically challenging and including a Biblical worldview related to that subject. Every day we endeavor to get better at that task as we work to honor God with our efforts. God bless and I hope everyone has a great weekend.
