Heroes in Our Hallways
Mr. Patterson
Ms. Hadley
Ms.Teague
Mr. Shapiro "Coach Smack"
We are proud to recognize Phillip Shapro who dedicated 20 years of honorable service to the United States Air Force as a pilot. Throughout two decades of military service, he demonstrated extraordinary courage, commitment, discipline, and dedication to our country. Today, he continues that legacy of service in a different wayโby educating, inspiring, and making a difference in the lives of our students. His journey from serving our nation in the skies to serving our students in the classroom is a powerful reminder that service to others takes many forms. We are incredibly grateful for his sacrifices, his leadership, and the example he sets for our Wildcat community.
Mr. Perkins
Mr. Perkins proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for six years, where he worked as a Jet Engine Mechanic ensuring aircraft were mission-ready and operating at peak performance. His service took him overseas for a significant portion of his career, where he supported operations and maintenance efforts that kept our Air Force flying strong. Mr. Perkinsโ technical expertise, dedication, and commitment to excellence stand as a testament to the vital role every Airman plays in defending our nation.

๐ก Reminders
1. Attendance Matters ๐
As we settle into the school year, we want to remind families of the importance of consistent, on-time attendance. Being present and punctual helps students stay on track academically and fully engage in school life.
Our administrative team is reaching out to students and families where there have been frequent absences or tardies to offer support and discuss next steps, which may include social probation if attendance doesn't improve. Our goal is to work together to find solutions that help every student succeed both in and out of the classroom
2. 8th Period โ๐ป
Any student who has missed multiple days, needs to catch up on classwork, or requires assistance can attend 8th period after school. 8th period details are:
- Mon - Thurs
- 3:30 - 5:45 PM
- Activity bus available
- Opportunity to make up missed school days and tardies
