All Hands on Deck in the Design & Innovation Studio at Carlisle Elementary!
It was a busy and exciting day of creativity and collaboration in the Design & Innovation Studio. Our JrK students kicked things off, working together to craft wheels and axles—true teamwork in action. Some students also channeled their artistic side creating colorful Trunk or Treat posters, while others began designing and editing a special green screen project for 3rd grade.
Next up, 3rd graders jumped right into their human body unit, constructing model chest cavities and learning how organs fit and function together. Meanwhile, 1st graders put on their scientist hats, collecting real data on heart rate, lung capacity, and body temperature—future researchers in the making.
To round out the day, 5th graders wrapped up their landform projects, studying elevation and topography maps to see how Earth’s landscapes take shape through contour and design.
From engineering builds to scientific exploration, every grade brought curiosity and creativity to life. Stay tuned for more STEM adventures and remember—keep STEM-ing!
