Good afternoon parents / guardians:

I am asking for your cooperation in regards to the usage of cell phones in our building.

Presently, we are experiencing the uncomfortable concern of parents calling / texting students during the school day. Please refrain from doing such as cell phones are going off during class time. This is happening often and it is disturbing the learning process, to say the least.

If you feel that is a need to get a message to your child, please call our main office at 401-849-3700 and one of our secretaries will be more than happy to do that for you.

Please be informed that we are experiencing a high number of students arriving late for school every morning. I would like to ask you for your cooperation and support as we are trying to maximize our instruction on a daily basis.

Students are to be in their homerooms by 7:58am as classes start at 8:00am.

RICAS STATE TESTING KICKS OFF SOON!

Rhode Island Comprehensive Assessment System (RICAS) for English Language Arts will be implemented on the following days:

Gr. 5 and 6 March 28 and March 29

Gr 7 and 8 March 30 and April 5

• eats a healthy breakfast

• brings their charger to school.

• As always please be sure your child is ON TIME TO SCHOOL on the given days. Testing starts at 8:00.

• Students who are tardy will have to make the test up at a later date.

RICAS for Math will be administered during the month of May.

Please consider donating your unwanted clothing or shoes to Planet Aid.

Donations MUST fit inside the boxes. Do not leave items outside the boxes.
