9. From Intrado about recent TikTok Challenges affecting schools:
Schools are reacting to the latest TikTok Challenge threatening school safety. School shooting threats circulating on social media today have driven many schools to increase police presence or even close down buildings for the day.
As many of our customers are aware, we held a webinar called TikTok: The Latest School Safety Challenge in November. We wanted to share the recording of that webinar and some of the useful links from it with all of our customers in light of the current threats.
Access the on-demand webinar recording by clicking here and completing the registration (or simply entering your email address if you had previously registered).
Below are some of the free resources we mentioned in the webinar, including links for reporting concerning content on various popular social media platforms.

10. Cellular providers are phasing out 3G and replacing it with 5G. This change means certain (older) phones are not compatible on a 5G network. I've included the link straight from the FCC regarding this issue. (https://www.fcc.gov/consumers/guides/plan-ahead-phase-out-3g-cellular-networks-and-service)
People need to contact their cell providers for more info. If they need assistance in getting a phone that would work with 5G, they can ask for assistance through the Lifeline Program (https://www.fcc.gov/lifeline-consumers)
