Message from Principal David Ewers

North Community,

We had a great week at the Brickhouse last week, culminating with an outstanding Black History Program on Friday! Winter sports have wrapped up, and Spring sports are in full swing. The weather has been incredible for a great start! We have four days until Spring Break, but there is still a lot going on at SMN.

Our Jazz Band and orchestra are performing TONIGHT to a sold-out crowd at the Kauffman Center! Additionally, our choir is hosting two concerts this week, we have International Night on Wednesday, and the Spring Sports kick-off on Thursday. If you get a chance to come out and see these awesome events, I promise you will not be disappointed! Let’s have a strong finish to the 3rd quarter!

A note from the SMN Robotics Team

Hello North!

Here is the 937 robotics team update! This week we started driver tryouts, and everyone is doing fantastic! Driver tryouts are “tests” to see how well a person can control the robot. The first test involves driving five figure eights. One student had a time of 24 seconds in the practice round. The fastest time on the non-practice round was 39 seconds. Our first competition is a week and a half away! Wish us luck!
