The National Merit Scholarship Program has now determined which of the 16,000 Semifinalists named in September 2022 met all requirements to advance to Finalist standing in the competition. All Finalists will be considered for National Merit Scholarship Awards to be offered in 2023.

Congratulations to Luke Goodwin as he has advanced to Finalist standing in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

In March, NMSC will begin notifying scholarship winners.

Congratulations, Mr. Seewer!

Mr. Seewer was nominated for 2023-2024 Principal of the Year through The Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators. He is such a strong leader, and we are excited for this recognition of his hard work and dedication to the students and staff of CMHS.

NHS Sponsored Blood Drive

Recently, the Clinton-Massie National Honor Society held a blood drive. This blood drive was very successful! With a total of 23 donors we will have a positive impact on more than 70 lives! For 10 of the donors it was their first time donating blood.

We would like to thank all of the students for donating their time and blood, as well as all of the nurses and staff who helped to make this a successful blood drive.

Members of the National Honor Society took shifts escorting students to and from classes for their donation times. This helped to ensure the safety of our student donors. Additionally, members brought in snacks for the donors to enjoy to help them from any potential nausea.

Many students felt happy to have this opportunity to donate their blood for others. Next time there is a blood drive do not forget to sign up!
