The Weekly Update #4

Can you believe we've already been in school for a month, Pandas? What a great start to the school year!

As we head into September, I'm excited to continue connecting our families with all the wonderful things happening at our school. Each month, I'll use this newsletter to keep you informed about upcoming events, important dates, family engagement opportunities, and ways you can stay involved in your child's school experience.

Thank you for being an important part of our Panda family! I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and creating even more opportunities for our families to learn, connect, and grow together.

Panda Families-

Our Title I Guidebook for the 2026/2027 school year is now available. You can find a link to view the guidebook below, on our social media page, and in the Family Engagement monthly newsletter.

Please remember that this Guidebook is different from the Online District Handbook. https://dpps.hcbe.net/familyengagement

ALL Car Riders must go through the CAR RIDER LINE (Morning and Afternoon)

School doors open @ 7:45am (Please do not leave your child unattended)

• Free breakfast and lunch for all students.
• Classes begin @ 8:30am
  
• TARDY: Students must be signed in by a parent /guardian through the office
• Changes in Transportation: Please call the office (478-218-7500)
• Parents/Guardians, please bring your I.D. with you every time.
• Dismissal @ 3:30pm
• Helpful: Label your child's belongings (sweaters, jackets, bookbags, etc.)

📅 Days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday — weekly

⏰ Time: 7:40–8:40 AM

👥 Volunteers Needed: 4 each day

Please note: All volunteers must have a current background check on file with the school prior to volunteering.

The Panda Store is a special place where students can spend their Panda Bucks on fun rewards like candy, small toys, or even classroom popsicle parties! Students earn Panda Bucks by: • Completing their homework E • Showing kindness to others • Helping teachers or classmates • Living the Panda Expectations every day!
