Thursday 2/27

NJSIAA Round 1

EHT defeated Kingsway 53-17 in the first round of the NJSIAA Sectional Tournament. EHT jumped out to a 16-5 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. It was a balanced attack with 11 girls getting in the scoring column. The Eagles move on to the second round Monday 3/3 when they will host Eastern Regional High School. Tip off will be at 5:00 pm.

Thursday 2/27

NJSIAA Round 1

The boy's varsity basketball team finished their season last night with a tough loss to Atlantic City. The Eagles were led by senior Jake Karp with 19pts and Jalen Bell with 18pts. Thank you to all of our senior players and parents.

For the Boys Track team junior Sawyer Schmidt qualified for the Meet of Champions in the Pole Vault. Sawyer is only the 4th Pole Vaulter in school history to qualify for this prestigious event.

The girls winter track and field team finished up their season last week. The girls did an outstanding job this year! Some special awards were given out at the team party.

The spring track and field season begins March 10th! We are looking forward to another successful season!

Cami Bird and Sami Duron qualified for the girls state championships. Cami placed 2nd and Sami 3rd in the girls south regional tournament. Jayson Garcia took 2nd place at District 29 and is advancing to Regions! Good luck!!

EHT Crew had a great showing at the South Jersey Indoor Rowing Championship with our Boys Crew finishing second overall! Individually, we would like to recognize the following athletes:

• 1st Place: Scarlett Butcher (Women’s U17 2K), Daniel Corcoran (Men’s U17 2K) and Chase Brown (Men’s Youth 2K)

• 2nd Place: Marcella Nehmad (Women’s U16 2K), Aidan Fultz (Men’s U17 2K), Rocco Ricciardi (Men’s U18 2K)

• 3rd Place: Mia Imberti (Women’s U16 2K)

Spring sports include: Boys and Girls Crew, Boys and Girls Lacrosse, Baseball, Softball, Boys and Girls Spring Track, Boys Tennis, Boys Volleyball, Flag Football and Golf.
