The Call
MARCH 16-20, 2026
Dear Colin Powell Academy Families,
As we move closer to Spring Break, we ask that you remind your children to continue demonstrating what it means to be CPA Cadets—leaders in our classrooms and throughout the building.
Recently, we have noticed concerns regarding how some shared spaces are being treated. Please speak with your child about the importance of respecting our school facilities, including our bathrooms. This means not removing door handles, avoiding excessive use of paper towels, and using toilet paper appropriately so that these spaces remain clean and functional for everyone.
We also need our Cadets to continue showing leadership in the cafeteria by:
Following staff directions
Keeping food on their trays and not throwing food toward others
Cleaning up their trash before leaving their tables
As a school, we are proud to be a composting community, and it takes everyone working together to keep this effort going successfully.
Thank you for your partnership in helping our students show pride in their school and leadership as CPA Cadets.
Sincerely
N. Lattimore

Atentamente
NLattimore
