March2025

Dear County Line Community, Dear County Line Community,

As we welcome March, we’re excited for the many opportunities ahead to learn, grow, and celebrate together! Spring is just around the corner, and with it comes new energy and excitement for our Comet community.

This year, our school-wide goal is ELA (English Language Arts), and we’ve been engaging in exciting literacy activities to support student learning. Recently, we had a wonderful Literacy Night with our reading specialist and principals, please see our presentation here. In addition, we’re looking forward to upcoming events like the Book Fair and Read Across America Week, which will continue to build a love of literacy in our school community!

Thank you, families, for your continued support in helping our Comets shine! Wishing you all a wonderful month ahead!

-

Sincerely,

Mrs. Schultz

Principal, County Line Elementary

Attendance Reminder

All attendance updates can be sent to: cloffice@gsdwi.org. The preferred method of contact to report an absence is by emailing attendance before 8:20, including the teacher and any relevant details.

Office Pick-Ups

To ensure a smooth dismissal process, the last parent pick-up from the office will be at 3:10 PM. Any parent pick-ups after this time must be done at the recess doors with regular parent pick-up (3:21 PM). If you need to pick up your child early, please make arrangements before 3:10 PM.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our dismissal process safe and efficient!

Classroom Placements

Our schools are committed to providing students with authentic learning experiences that support their growth and success. Our top priority is ensuring growth and excellence for all. Our staff works collaboratively to determine class placements that best support all students.

Family requests for a specific classroom or teacher do not factor into student placements. However, if you believe your child has a specific health or learning need that should be considered during the placement process for next year, please communicate this directly with your child’s teacher by March 14th, 2025. While this information will help provide context for placement decisions, it does not guarantee placement in a specific classroom. We appreciate your partnership in creating the best possible learning environment for all students.
