E. Roy Bixby Elementary School

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am very excited to start the new school year as a preschool through 2nd grade building. The Bogota Schools will open on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Thursday, September 4th & Friday, September 5th are both Single Session Days. Kindergarten through 2nd grade will be dismissed at 12:50 PM. Preschool will dismiss at 12:30 PM. Please be sure to pick up your child at this time.

Students should report to school by 8:30 A.M. On the first two days of school, students will line up in the courtyard, weather permitting.

Please send your child to school with a healthy snack. We do have a school breakfast and lunch program. It remains your option to participate in the meal program or to bring lunch from home.

Our annual Back to School Night at Bixby School will be held on Wednesday, September 17th at 6:30 PM. Details regarding Back to School Night will be sent in September.

There will be no school on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 for Rosh Hashanah. Also, there will be a Single Session Day on Friday, September 26, 2025. Students will be dismissed at 12:50 PM on this day. Please be sure to pick up your child at this time.

Sincerely,

Priscilla Ortiz
