- Alphonse Karr
Good Afternoon, CUSD,
Last night was a very special board meeting as we celebrated the Month of the Military Child as well as our 2026 Teachers of the Year. Congratulations to all!
Within our agenda, the board approved a new cell phone/smart device protocol for the 2026-27 school year.
We look forward to seeing many of you at the district-wide World Language Awards & Cultural Fair next Tuesday. This fun event is a celebration of our world languages pathways from elementary through high school and the accomplishments of our hard working students. Everyone is welcome to attend the cultural fair in the CHS quad after the ceremony where there will be food, games, and cultural booths. See flyer below for more details.
CoSA students have been working overtime preparing for tonight’s premier of their spring musical, Freaky Friday. The show is energetic, entertaining and family-friendly. Don’t miss it! See flyer below for details, click here for tickets.
Have a great Flower Show weekend!
Respectfully,

Ed Tech Parent Series
SDCOE is excited to announce the upcoming Educational Technology Parent Series, a free virtual learning opportunity open to all parents and educators across our region. This series is designed to support families and school communities in navigating educational technology and resources that empower student success.
As our educators, parents, and community come together to connect, challenge, and champion our students, we are humbled by the outpouring of compliments. What a positive testament to our CUSD family!
Click here to recognize an employee or volunteer who goes above and beyond to make a difference. Those who are "caught" will receive a copy of the positive words that were shared about them and a "Caught Being Awesome" decal. Please take a minute or two to brighten someone else's day!
