The Tortured Poets Department

Can you tell the difference between Taylor Swift's lyrics and Edgar Allen Poe's poetry? Try your hand at our Tortured Poets Department display and see if you can tell which is which.

Book Club

Join us on November 12th during Advisory for conversation and recommendations. At this time, we are just chatting about the books we've been reading. There's no pressure to read something new. All are welcome!

Dear Medusa

This novel in verse is a stunning, but weighty read. Tackling topics of shame, sexual assault, and identity, Cole expertly weaves Alicia's story with that of the mythical monster, Medusa. Gorgeously written and hugely important.

Everything We Never Had

From the author of Patron Saints of Nothing, comes a new novel that follows four generations of Filipino American boys as they grapple with grief, guilt, and tense father-son relationships. At times heartbreaking, but also full of warmth and hope.

Mr. Modrusic

"This month, I have been reading North Woods by Daniel Mason. It's a fiction story about one location in New England over a 300 year period, and each chapter has a distinct style and tone. Plus it has a cool catamount (an extinct big cat) on the cover!"
