As we start to see the giant piles of snow on our playground melt away, we are excited to see more and more community members coming into the building each day! We have recently welcomed Kristen Getler in as a small business owner to talk to our third and fourth grade economics class, and we are SO excited to have the "Roxbury Readers" visiting us during lunchtimes on Monday - Wednesday. These volunteers are reading and playing games with students, and establish local relationships with mentors. As we get our garden program up and running for the spring, we'll be looking for lots of hands, so don't hesitate to be in touch if you'd like to help out!

• There will be a half day of school this Thursday, and no school for students on Friday as we host parent teacher conferences. If you do not yet have a time scheduled, please reach out to your teacher: we are happy to connect virtually with you if it doesn't work to come to RVS! Please note that there IS Bridges on Thursday for students enrolled on that day.
• Please note that the student early dismissal scheduled for April 15th has been moved to April 8th. We will dismiss at 12. Please note an important change to be consistent with the rest of our district: there will be no Bridges or other after-school programming on this day. All students will be dismissed at noon. Please let Tina know your pickup plan if your child normally stays after school on Mondays.
• Please continue sending winter gear/mud gear. We are outside every day unless there is a downpour or unsafe weather.
• Third and fourth grade students will complete the VT-CAP state assessment on 4/3-4/4 and 4/9-4/10.
• School will be closed for April break from April 22-April 26th.
• Our garden volunteer work day has been scheduled for Saturday, May 11th, from 9 AM -12 PM.

All regularly scheduled meetings begin at 6:30pm. Board Members will either be participating virtually or in-person. This meeting will be held at MHS - please note that this meeting pertains directly to the future of RVS.

The HOPE Coalition has been in contact to share with the Roxbury community that they are providing support in the form of relief supplies, clothing, fresh produce and shelf-stable foods, all at no cost. They are located at 297 Vine Street in Berlin and are open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1-4PM. Folks seeking more info can visit www.hopecoalition.net.
