2026-2027 Placement Information
Placement is a school responsibility which we take very seriously. Parents frequently acknowledge how well our teachers know their children. In addition to the classroom teacher’s knowledge, there may be information that you feel would be helpful for us to know. Please note that written input is optional and you do not need to fill out the form in order to have your child’s needs considered. If you choose to send us parent input, we ask that you use the Parent Placement Information Form and complete it no later than Friday, May 1st. We view placement as an extremely important task, and afford it significant time and reflection.

Rising 3rd Grade families
Dear Grade 2 Families,
Fisher School has used a “looping” model for over 25 years, allowing students to stay with the same teacher for Grades 3 and 4, which supports stronger relationships, smoother transitions, and greater continuity in learning. One Grade 3 class will follow this model and include a mix of abilities, with some shared instruction across Grades 3 and 4. Indicating interest does not guarantee placement, as decisions are made collaboratively by staff and administration. Please complete the looping form by May 1, 2026; feel free to reach out with any questions.
