Each student designed a slideshow of about 3-5 slides that gave hints to parents to guess which kind of leader their child is! We created a "lemon theme" that was embedded in our slide show, our classroom decor and even our treats for parents. Great fun was had by all!

Field Trip to the Buffalo Museum of Science & Planetarium
Third Grade & Multi-Age Field Trip to the Buffalo Museum of Science and Planetarium
Students from Miss Daly's third grade class and Miss Bernier's multi-age class enjoyed an exciting day of learning at the Buffalo Museum of Science and Planetarium. Throughout the museum, students explored a variety of interactive exhibits that encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, and hands-on discovery. They investigated topics ranging from animals and ecosystems to the human body and scientific innovation.
A highlight of the trip was the Planetarium show, where students learned about space, planets, stars, and the wonders of our solar system. The immersive presentation brought science concepts to life and inspired students to think more deeply about the world beyond Earth.
This field trip provided a valuable opportunity for students to extend their classroom learning through real-world experiences while fostering a love of science, exploration, and discovery. We are proud of the enthusiasm, curiosity, and respectful behavior our students demonstrated throughout the day.
4th Grade Art Park / Lewiston Field Trip
Our 4th grade classes went to Lewiston for our annual Historic Walk. The students visited this Historic Museum on Plain Street and took a guided tour of Lewiston stopping at the Frontier House, The Long and Short House, The Little Yellow House and many more! Some classes saw the famous 1812 statue by Hibbard's ice cream, as well as Laura helping fugitive slaves cross to freedom by the Silo. Mr. Frederick's class met the artist Susan Giessler who created both sculptures! Students saw original stone carriage steps in front of the NorthWest Bank and the original door and handle at DiCamillo's Bakery. The Orange Cat Cafe even displayed some of our Orange Cat drawings we made for them! We also enjoyed lunch with families at Silo's. What a beautiful community and school experience!
