- The first challenge round is October 15, 2024 – October 25, 2024
- Second challenge round is January 14, 2025 – January 24, 2025
Two teams qualify from the CENTRAL REGION each competition.
- If you are doing a written project and Virtual Business, you should use the same team members for both.
- You will need to commit to 35 hours over 11 days to qualify in either round. Only one person on a computer per team.
- Very competitive-suggest doing a back-up event as well
- The last two assignments are the closest to the live competition
Competition Dates and Costs
September 20 | 2024 DECA dues deadline | $40 p.p. here
January TBA | DECA District 6 Competition | Cost included in DECA Dues
March 13-15 | DECA State Conference | Detroit, MI | $250 p.p. student cost
April 25-30 | DECA International Conference | Orlando, Florida | $1250 p.p. student cost
All WBHS DECA dues and conferences can be paid by Cash, Check Payable to WBHS or on efunds
DECA Board
1. Sign-up for a minimum of TWO volunteer spots for August/September DECA Board Sign-up
2. Mark down the following Upcoming DECA Board Meetings:
- Thursday, September 5th, 2:25-3:00 Room 521 (Zalla) - Meeting PPT
- Thursday, September 19th: During advisory Room 521 (Zalla)
3. Make sure you have completed the DECA Google Form to sign-up for this year and ensure your event spot.
