WES is ALL THAT!
Wylie Elementary October Family Newsletter
Principal's Message
Dear Families,
October is a busy and exciting month on our campus! Students are now fully settled into their classroom routines, and we are seeing wonderful growth in both academics and character. Thank you for partnering with us to support consistent attendance—every day of learning truly makes a difference.
This month brings opportunities for both learning and fun. Our teachers are working hard to maximize instructional time and provide engaging lessons, while also encouraging creativity and problem-solving. We are also looking forward to seasonal activities that build school spirit and community.
As the weather changes and schedules get busier, please continue encouraging good habits at home—reading together each evening, practicing responsibility, and showing kindness to others. These small daily efforts add up to big successes for your child.
We are grateful for your partnership and support. Together, we can make this October a month full of growth, celebration, and learning for every child.

Campus Reminders & Procedures
As we move into October, here are a few important reminders to help our campus days run smoothly:
Arrival & Dismissal – Please use designated drop-off and pick-up areas. For safety, avoid cell phone use while in the car line. Students should be on campus by 7:45 so they don’t miss important morning instruction. Please stay in your vehicle and remain in the line.
-
Attendance Matters – Every school day counts! Please schedule appointments outside of school hours when possible and send a note if your child is absent.
-
Weather Changes – Cooler mornings are here. Make sure jackets and sweaters are labeled with your child’s name.
-
Healthy Habits – Encourage your child to eat breakfast (served daily in the cafeteria) and get plenty of rest each night.
-
Campus Safety – All visitors must check in at the front office with an ID. Thank you for helping us keep our campus secure.
We appreciate your support in reinforcing these procedures and reminders—it truly helps us create the best learning environment for every child.
