School Closed on Friday, May 22 and Monday, May 25
ARK Spring Carnival
We had another successful ARK Spring Carnival this past weekend! I want to sincerely thank all of the families who came out to participate, support, and celebrate our school community.
A very special thank you goes out to our incredible PTA volunteers who gave their time and energy to help make the event such a positive experience for our students and families. Events like this simply would not be possible without the commitment, generosity, and teamwork of so many people behind the scenes.
Also, grateful for staff who attended.
We are truly appreciative of all that our volunteers do for A. Russell Knight School and for the care and effort you continue to pour into our community.
Thank you again for helping create such a fun and memorable event for our students and families.

SACC Registration for 2026 - 2027 School Year
THIS MESSAGE IS FOR FAMILIES OF INCOMING KINDERGARTNERS FOR THE 2026 - 2027 SCHOOL YEAR.
Dear Families of Incomiing Kindergartners,
We hope this message finds you doing well. On behalf of everyone at A. Russell Knight Elementary School, we would like to warmly invite you to our Incoming Kindergarten Orientation for families of students joining us for the 2026–2027 school year.
This will be a parent-only orientation and an opportunity for you to meet many of the staff members who will support your child throughout their kindergarten experience, including our kindergarten teachers, Literacy Teacher Coach, Guidance Counselor, School Nurse, and Principal.
During the orientation, you will learn more about our kindergarten curriculum, daily routines, and what to expect as your child begins this exciting new chapter. Most importantly, it is an opportunity for us to begin building a strong partnership with your family.
At Russell Knight, we believe deeply in creating a flourishing school community where children and adults alike wake up inspired to come to school and leave each day with a sense of fulfillment in what they accomplished. We cannot wait to meet your children, get to know them, and welcome them into our school family.
