Parent Forms must be completed before your student can start the school year. If you haven't already, complete your Cherry Creek School District Parent Forms and CCA Chromebook User Agreement Form as soon as possible.

Grades 1-8th Back to School Night will be on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Students and parents are invited to bring their school supplies in and meet your child’s teacher(s). Please attend only one of the designated sessions per student.

• 1st through 4th Grade You are invited to attend one of the following sessions in your child’s classroom.

• Session #1 is 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm
• Session #2 is 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm
• Session #3 is 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm

• 5th and 6th Grade You are invited to attend one of the following sessions:

• Session #1 is 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm

• 4:00 pm to 4:15 pm

• Parents and students pick-up locker assignments and class schedules in the lobby. Students are invited to then organize their lockers and put things away.

• 4:15 pm - 5:00 pm

• Parents please join us in the gym to meet your child’s teachers and attend an informational presentation.

• Session #2 is 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

• 6:00 pm - 6:15 pm

• 6:15 pm - 7:00 pm

Kindergarten Back to School Night is scheduled for Monday, August 4. For families whose last name begins with letters A-L, please attend the 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM session. For families whose last name begins with letters M-Z, please attend the 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM session. During this time, you will help your student unpack their school supplies, meet with your child's teacher, and receive additional information about your child’s new school routine.

Cherry Creek Academy has partnered with Schoolpool to assist families interested in connecting to set up carpools for daily school pick up and drop off, sports and activities transportation and more!

The more families register, the more likely you are to find good matches. Even if your family doesn’t need a ride, consider signing up to see other families that live nearby. Your participation builds a stronger school community.

Exciting news, we have new Chromebook cases and several classes will be using brand new devices!

Repair and replacement costs from our suppliers have increased, which has unfortunately led to a rise in our prices. To help offset these potential costs, we highly recommend purchasing insurance for your child's Chromebook. This can provide peace of mind and protect you from unexpected expenses.

Cherry Creek Academy offers optional Chromebook Repair Insurance for 4th-8th grade students. Insurance is available from July 1 through August 31 at 11:59 PM and costs $40 per student, per school year. Please note that coverage isn't active until 48 hours after payment.

Insurance covers 50% of all damage claims. For example, a screen replacement would cost $80 with insurance, compared to the regular $160 fee. You can make payments online via Revtrak, or by cash or check made out to CCA.

I am excited to get Peer Helpers up and running this school year. We have TWO excellent opportunities right away to help out our community. First, Back to School night is this Thursday, July 31st. If you are interested, please come and help students carry their school supplies to their classroom. Back to School Night time slot information can be found in the Back to School 2025 document.

Second, on the first day of school come at 7:20 to be outfitted in a safety vest and we will do the same, but we will meet each student in the carpool line. Please email me to let me know if you are able to assist Thursday night and/or Tuesday morning. Peer Helpers with have a table set up Thursday night, so find me there and I will be at the front doors the first day of school with vests for you! I hope you can participate in serving and showing our school who we are and what we do!

Attention all CCA Middle School students! Peer Helpers will begin meeting on Friday, August 15th at 7:15am in Mrs. MacFarland's room. Any middle school students who are interested in participating in our Peer Helper program should plan on attending this meeting.

Peer Helpers is a group of Middle School students who are trained in leadership skills in order to help their fellow CCA community. Our main roles are providing tutoring and/or going on Buddy Walks with elementary students. Please email Mrs. MacFarland mmacfarland@cherrycreekacademy.org with any questions. I hope to see you there!

Kings of Chess club helps kids learn chess in a fun way. Registration is open now. Chess club begins meeting at CCA on Monday, August 25.

Our music community has a spot for you! Band is more than just playing notes. It's about teamwork, feeling more confident, and sharing your voice through music.

We're gearing up for our annual Used Uniform Sale which will take place during both 1-8 Grade Back to School Night on July 31 from 4-7pm and Kindergarten Back to School Night on August 4 from 5:00-6:30pm. This sale is a fantastic way for families to grab affordable uniforms for the upcoming school year while also supporting our PTO's initiatives. All items are priced at $5 each.

Please note, the Used Uniform Sale is a fundraiser and supplies are dependent on donations. PTO cannot guarantee the availability of sizes or styles.
