Welcome Back Clearwater Elementary STEAM Families,
We have an exciting week ahead at Clearwater this week !
On Friday, as part of our work with the Carnegie STEAM Excellence Pathway, we will be highlightig our, Dive into STEAM Event and opening it up to the educational community. This event offers educators and families a glimpse into the kind of engaging, creative learning that takes place at Clearwater every day. Families have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on STEAM activity alongside their students.
The event will take place on June 6, 2025. Our opening will begin at 8:00 am, families and guests will visit rooms beginning at 8:45 - 9:30 am.

On Friday, the district hosted its first-ever Salsa Challenge, and every school participated including Clearwater! Each site was challenged to grow their own ingredients and create a unique salsa recipe. The Mayor and our Superintendent were the judges.
Our third graders were ready! Their homegrown cherry tomatoes were ready, and with the help of my salsa recipe, we created a delicious salsa. Whether we win or not, the best part of the day was working with 20 third graders as they made their own salsa.
