Snow Days to Come... Who Knows?
Not sure about this snow and cold weather headed our way. I guess time will tell how much snow comes to Central Ohio. Nevertheless, I know this activates our ability to make quick adjustments on the fly and recalculate that curriculum calendar to meet the full needs of our kids. This is just another great reminder to have your student check PowerSchool and Schoology to stay on top of learning during these times. Let's see what these next few days will bring our way.

Important Updates
- The Student Group and Candid Picture Day is Monday 1/26/26. This is the day when we get our team and activity/club photos.
- 6th Grade SOAR Celebration will be on Monday 1/26/26 during Advisory.
- Attention 8th grade families - your student's baby picture for the yearbook is due by the end of January. Please see the submission details below. Feel free to reach out to YvonneGrubb@bwls.net with any questions.
- Scheduling information will be available for the 2026-27 school year as we shift to the month of February.
- Grade update day for the 3rd quarter is Friday 2/6/26. As a reminder, this is a time to jump into PowerSchool and double check on your student's progress for the 3rd quarter.
- Attention 8th grade families - Save the Date for the Freshman Scheduling Night will be Monday 2/9/26. (A-G at 6:00pm, H-O at 6:30pm, P-Z at 7:00pm)
- The next BWMS Parent Teacher Conference Night is Thursday 2/12/26.
- The next BWMS Dance will be on Friday 2/13/26 from 6PM-8PM. Cost is $5 at the door.
- Officer Whiteside will be leading a 7th grade digital citizenship lesson for our students out of their social studies class on Tuesday 2/17/26. The following information and opt-out form will be emailed home to families next week.

Parents... important note: Pictures must be submitted from your Students BWLS Google Account. Yearbook order forms have been emailed and will be available until the end of February.
Annual CCP Notice
College Credit Plus Annual Notice
Ohio schools are required to provide notice to students and families in grades 6-11 of the opportunity to participate in the College Credit Plus program for the upcoming school year. All students interested in College Credit Plus for the 2025-2026 school year are required to give written notice of the Intent to Participate no later than April 1. Recent legislation requires us to use the Intent to Participate Form developed by the state.

BWMS Athletic Information
Reminder that all athletes should have their final forms complete and a current OHSAA Evaluation Exam Form uploaded to Final Forms directly or emailed to Mrs. Kreager stephaniekreager@bwls.net. All physicals must be received prior to the first tryout date or first practice of the season.
