Hawk Talk - January 17, 2025

We have lots of great things coming up!

• Keep scrolling for more information, dates and special events.

Today we had an assembly to honor the legacy and memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Idaho Human Rights day. At the assembly we watched a youtube of students reciting his "I have a dream" speech (the video is in the link below - it is EXCELLENT). Then we talked about connecting their dreams to goals to ACTIONS! Encourage your students to share their dreams and then talk about the things they will need to do to meet those dreams!

Today was also CRAZY HAT DAY! Every one had a great time!

Sledding is going great! Students are still enjoying sledding on our little hill at recess! Remember - we have bigger hills at Freeman Park and Community Park and a lot of our students would really enjoy sledding on Monday, 1/20!
