Warren School Weekly Update

September 26, 2025
There will be no school on Thursday in observance of Yom Kippur. This day is the holiest and most solemn in the Jewish calendar, marking the culmination of the Ten Days of Repentance. It is a Day of Atonement that includes fasting, prayer, and reflection. To all who are observing, Tzom kal.
This week our second grade families joined us for Curriculum Night, where they had the opportunity to meet their childās teacher and learn more about the curriculum, routines, and classroom expectations for the year ahead. Thank you for attending and for your partnership, we are excited to continue expanding opportunities for families to engage with our school community.
To better support our families, we introduced live virtual interpreters this year. For Grade 2, interpreters translated in real time, allowing presentations to flow without pauses. Families requiring interpretation services must sign up in advance using the form below. Kindergarten and Grade 1 families must register by 5:00 pm on Friday, September 26. Parents may use their own devices or borrow a Chromebook with earbuds to access the live interpretation stream.
š Use this link to Fill out this Form. We will make sure we have an interpreter for you.
We also appreciate your flexibility with our calendar this fall. So far, students have only had two full five-day school weeks, and this pattern will continue for a few more weeks. Our next uninterrupted five-day week will be the first full week of November. We recognize the challenge this creates as our young learners work to build consistent routines, and we thank you for your understanding and support at home.
Have a great weekend,
Pete
