Welcome Back, Rangers!

Good Afternoon, Ranger Families!

What an incredible start to the 2026–27 school year! From orientation and our opening days to the energy in our classrooms and hallways, it is clear that we are building something special together.

The work we did during orientation to intentionally build culture, establish shared expectations across departments, and set the standard for excellence early is already making an impact. We are creating clarity around who we are, how we show up for one another, and what it means to be a Ranger.

And then came Thursday night at Ranger Stadium. The energy, pride, and sense of community on display were a powerful reminder of what makes Central such a special place. Ranger Pride was everywhere. Our students, staff, families, and community showed what it looks like when we come together and believe in something bigger than ourselves.

This launch is just the beginning. The foundation has been set, the standard is high, and the opportunity in front of us is tremendous.

Have a great weekend, Rangers!

Thank you for all you do,

Jon Haga

Introducing SchooLinks Introducing SchooLinks

Forest Hills has partnered with a new comprehensive college and career readiness platform called SchooLinks. SchooLinks is live through students Clever accounts and students are welcome to dive in and explore the program. There is no requirement to do so, however, each grade level will be onboarded during counselor visits this year. Twelfth grade students will be the first to onboard with SchooLinks as we will be using the platform to request transcripts. Families of seniors, please see below for more important information regarding SchooLinks.

BEFORE WE CAN BEGIN SENDING SENIOR TRANSCRIPTS: BEFORE WE CAN BEGIN SENDING SENIOR TRANSCRIPTS:

In order for SchoolLinks to communicate with colleges and the Common Application, parents/guardians need to have their students log into SchooLinks to sign the FERPA waiver.

Once logged into SchooLinks via Clever, students need to: 1) Complete the Find Your Path exercise, 2) Access the college application manager and fill out their home address, and 3) Access the FERPA agreement. Under this section students will be prompted to sign a FERPA release which will allow transcripts (and letters of recommendation if required) to be shared with the colleges and universities your student indicates. This form requires a parent acknowledgement portion. What is the FERPA? Please see here for more information

Lockers Now Available Upon Request! Lockers Now Available Upon Request!

A limited number of lockers are now available to students upon request. Students who would like a locker can complete the Google Form that was emailed to them.

Please remind them to submit their request as soon as possible, and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
