A message from Mrs. Bardwell

We hope you will join us for Open House Tuesday, Aug 18th.

We are very fortunate to have pure teaching teams at The Gap. This means all students have the same teachers for their core subjects. For Open House the grade level team will do a group presentation for the parents. After the presentations from the core teachers, parents will then have time to visit the different elective teachers. This year we have also split our Open House with the MGES to better accommodate parents with students on both sides of the building. We hope to see you there!

There will be a general PTA meeting at 6:00. Grade-level presentations will begin right after the PTA meeting. Sixth Grade parents will meet in the Gym. Seventh Grade parents will meet in the library. Eighth grade parents will meet in Mrs. Fuemmeler's room. Elective teachers will be in the Band room for you to visit with.

Our teachers and coaches will start working to to get their groups going this week, so go ahead and download the app. Please have your child download it as well. With this app we can send students and parents the same reminders simultaneously. Check out the directions below to get started.

Lockers are STILL for sale

Does your student want a locker? They can purchase them in the middle school office for $5. Lockers are an excellent option to keep items, like cell phones and lunches, safe when they are not needed. Students may want to wait to bring ALL their supplies until they have been issued a locker.

Take time to practice with a combination lock. A little practice opening a combination lock will go a long way to helping your student to get to class on time.

Need some MGMS Gear?

Check out our BSN spirit store. It is a great place to get some new MGMS gear. All gear will have the interlocking MG embroidered on it. The best part is all gear you order will be mailed to your home.
