PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
There is no cruise control at FMS! The students, staff and parents are all still full throttle. We had three field trips this week with more to come next week.
On Wednesday, the Morse Class of 2025 visited their elementary and middle schools in their caps and gowns. We love this tradition at FMS, when we get to see so many of our students return and look back on their journey!
The 4th and 5th Grade FMS Spring Concert was wonderful. Thank you to Ms. Michaud, the staff, the custodians, the parents and the STUDENTS! It takes all of us to pull off such a beautiful concert.
We had a great assembly this morning. Shout out to all of our Academic and 3 Pillar Award recipients this month, along with our Artist of the Month recognitions. Congratulations to Ms. Metrano’s, Ms. Heath’s, and Ms. Gerrish’s homerooms for winning this month’s Future You Challenge. Also congratulations to Ms. H.Gagnon’s, Ms. K.Gagnon’s, and Mr. Hays’s homerooms for winning the attendance challenge.
We had a picnic style lunch today outside as a whole school challenge reward. I was so impressed with the students. Even though it was a change, they did a great job and had a great time.
It was so nice to see so many 3rd Grade parents learning math games from their kids this afternoon! Nice job 3rd Graders and thank you parents!
Wrapping up the week is the Greenhouse Club Annual Plant Sale tomorrow 10am-2pm!
Please take a moment to complete the Transportation Form. -Ross
Shaw's selects Fisher-Mitchell Elementary to benefit in June 2025
We are excited to share that Shaw’s has selected Fisher Mitchell to benefit from the GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program throughout June. The Shaw’s GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Reusable Bag Program makes it easy for shoppers to contribute to their local communities.
Every time a $3 reusable GIVE BACK Bag is purchased at the Shaw’s located at Shaw's, 1 Chandler Drive, Bath ME in June, $1 will be donated to us!
Let’s get started! Share the news with friends and family. Call, send emails, and post on social media. The more people who purchase a GIVE BACK Bag in June, the greater the donation we will receive from Shaw’s!
The Bath Elementary PTA Summer Kickoff Party is only ONE WEEK AWAY!! A free event, open to all DNS and FMS families. Friday 06/13, 4pm-7pm @ FMS playground.
