Congratulations to our National Merit Semifinalists!
We are proud to announce that Reese Groh, Kara Schanz , Isaiah Smith, Nelson (Tripp) Somerville have achieved National Merit Semifinalist status. To qualify, students must take the PSAT/NMSQT during their junior year of high school and score in roughly the top 1% of test-takers in their specific state. Out of roughly 1.3 to 1.5 million students who take the exam each year, approximately 16,000 earn Semifinalist status, granting them the opportunity to advance to Finalist standing and compete for official National Merit Scholarships.
Congratulations to our KHS Semifinalists!
Reese Groh, Kara Schanz, Isaiah Smith, Tripp Somerville,
