November Updates from Parent University! 🍂

Dear Parents, Caregivers & Community Members,

November is a time to reflect on all we're grateful for and to teach our children the importance of gratitude in their own lives. See the graphic below for 4 ideas on nurturing an attitude of gratitude within your family.

This month, we also honor and recognize our veterans for their service and sacrifice. As Veteran’s Day approaches on November 11th, let’s take a moment to express our gratitude to those who have served our country. Their courage and dedication allow us to enjoy the freedoms and opportunities we hold dear.

Here's what's coming up in November:

  • Weds 11/13 Preschool Parent Workshop on early literacy skills- bring your preschooler!
  • Tues 11/19 Positive Discipline & Guidance

Details for each of these events are linked down below.

Thank you for being a part of Parent University. Let’s make this month a meaningful one for our families and community.

With gratitude,

Save the Date... Saturday March 1st, 2025

Last May we held our first Parent University Community Resource Fair at Greenfield Junior High! Families were able to come learn about 30 different programs & agencies that support families in our area. We also had a DJ, crafts, games, raffle prizes every 15 mins, & cold treats from Frios Popsicles & Kona Ice. We are looking forward to doing it again, March 1st when the weather is a little cooler. We are currently looking for excellent community resources to participate, food trucks, and raffle items. If you know of an amazing community resource, food truck, or would like to donate a raffle item, please email us at parentuniversity@gilbertschools.net
