SAC Survey - Open through January 20

CCA is excited to provide an opportunity to collect feedback from you regarding our teachers and the school environment. The Teacher Feedback data is used to provide feedback to teachers and is part of their performance evaluation done by the Executive Director and Principals. The Climate portion of the survey contains questions about the CCA administration team, school communication, academic instruction, school safety, and other aspects of the CCA environment. Responses from the Climate portion are reviewed by the School Accountability Committee, CCA administration, and the CCA Board to guide future improvements to our school. The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. In exchange for your feedback, you are allowed to enter 2 hours of volunteer time.

Additionally, if we reach our goal of having a total of 350 responses on the survey, our students will be rewarded with a free dress day, on Friday, January 30th! As of this morning, we have 190 responses.

As a parent-involved charter school, this is your chance to help provide both positive and constructive feedback for CCA teachers, the administration, and the Parent Board. Note that the survey is intended to be filled out by parents and guardians, not students.

The survey will be available until midnight on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 12:00 am. 2026 SAC Survey Link

2025-2026 CCA Board Vacancy Announcement

The CCA Board of Directors Vacancy Committee is soliciting nominations for the one open CCA Board position. Vacancies occur on the Board most often when a member leaves the school or is unable to continue to serve due to personal or professional reasons.

A vacancy is different from an open election. CCA Board members serve three-year terms. A vacancy is tied to the existing Board member’s term length, which in this vacancy case, is 1.5 years. The individual appointed to the vacancy by the Vacancy Committee will serve until June 2027.

If you are interested in filling this vacancy, please complete the Nomination Form.

If you have questions regarding the Board Vacancy, please email the Board Vacancy Committee directly at vacancy@cherrycreekacademy.org.

If you would like more information about the CCA Board please see the Board Frequently Asked Questions document.

The Timeline for the Vacancy Committee Process is as follows:

  • On Wednesday, January 14 solicitation for nominations for the vacancy will close at 5:00 pm.
  • The Vacancy Committee will begin the Review Process on Thursday, January 15 to January 16.
  • The Vacancy Committee will recommend the top candidate to the Board at the Tuesday, January 20 Board Meeting
  • The Board will vote on a final candidate at the January 20 Board Meeting
