2025-2026 Bearcat Blast

Aledo ISD was honored to have members of our Local Government Collaborative out to Friday's game for some pre-game snacks in the new Steve Wood Athletics Complex followed by a tour of the SWC, a pep talk from former Aledo HS head football coach Tim Buchanan on the sideline of Buchanan Stadium, and a tour through the press box at The Buc.

We are grateful for our partnerships with the two counties and nine municipalities along with other community leaders who encompass the 130 square miles that is Aledo ISD! We are all working TOGETHER to make sure we're continuously Growing Greatness in our community!

Aledo ISD is capturing Bearcat pride all year long on our official Flickr account! From Friday night lights and fine arts performances to classroom moments and community events, you’ll find photos that showcase the heart of Bearcat Nation. Take a look, relive the memories, and find yourself on Flickr!

Bearcats of all ages showed their spirit this past Wednesday, September 3, by rocking shirts that represented their future goals in college, career, or military service! We are so proud of our students and staff for celebrating College & Career Readiness Day - an exciting tradition that reminds us to dream big, set goals, and inspire one another as we prepare for the future.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped build a future-ready culture here in Aledo ISD. Don’t forget, College & Career Readiness Day happens every first Wednesday of the month! Let’s keep celebrating goals, inspiring dreams, and Growing Greatness together.

Mykel Murry found her passion for running in her elementary school’s running club - and she’s been moving forward ever since. As a senior on the Aledo High School Girls Cross Country team, Mykel credits her coaches, teachers, and the Aledo community for helping her grow as both an athlete and a student. Her journey - which includes two state team cross country medals - is a testament to Exceptional Experiences that are Growing Greatness every day. In Aledo ISD, if you can dream it, you can do it - and Mykel’s all in.

With the start of the new school year, it's time to refresh your Bearcat apparel with new pieces from the Aledo ISD Bearcat Store! Along with the Texas Rangers x Aledo ISD Cody Bradford jerseys, you can find (youth and adult sizes) baseball hats, sweatshirts, vintage t-shirts, polos and more!

The Bearcat Store is open Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the Administration Building Lobby. The Aledo ISD Bearcat Store follows the Aledo ISD schedule for closures.

Give the Bearcat Store a like and follow to stay up-to-date on all of our new merch!
