Quoi de Neuf à ÉPK

As the colder weather arrives, we want to ensure all students are comfortable and safe while still enjoying essential fresh air and free play time.

• Normal Outdoor Recess: Up to a wind chill of -21°C.
• Reduced Outdoor Recess: Wind chill between -23°C and -25°C. Recess duration will be shortened.
• Indoor Recess: Wind chill of -25°C or lower.

Action for Parents:

Thank you for helping us support outdoor play by ensuring your child is dressed appropriately every day. Please send them to school with warm mittens, hats, snow pants, winter jackets, boots, and scarves. With so many layers coming off at school, we kindly ask that you label all of your child's winter gear clearly.

For detailed information, the official EICS administrative procedures are posted on the district's website:

EICS Administrative Procedure 134 - Inclement Weather
EICS Administrative Procedire 133 - Emergency Closings

Thank you in advance for reporting your child's absence espcially during the height of flu season and inclement weather. Your child's safety is our priority.
