NO HOLES... JEANS DAY VIOLATIONS
Jeans day does NOT include jeans with holes. We have addressed this on an 1:1 basis asking students not to wear the pair back, but starting 10/25, students will be required to change or have the parent bring them appropriate attire. Jean shorts also must meet dress code for length. Again, NO HOLES in jeans for jeans day Fridays.
Car Line
Early Release - Elementary pick up is 12:45-1:15. Middle School and MS with younger siblings is 1:00-1:30. We have some elementary only families not picking up until 1:30. This is slowing down the entire pick up process and causing a delay in the start of our professional development for teachers.
On 10/30 at 1:15 any elementary child without a middle school sibling will be brought to aftercare for $15 drop in care. Middle School and MS w/elementary siblings will be brought to after care at 1:30 for $15 per child drop in fee/care.
New area blocked off - we will be blocking off part of the car loop to give Middle School biking with PE room as well as 5th grade some shaded recess area. Please do not drive around the cones. If you are in the habit of coming early and parking under the shade structure, please know that the car loop will be blocked off further up the curve to give MS PE/bikes area during the day.

School Advisory Council 11/1/19 8:00am
What is SAC?
A School Advisory Council (SAC) helps to make important decisions for a school’s improvement and increased student achievement.
- Consists of teachers, students, parents and educational support personnel , and other citizens representative of the ethnic, racial and economic community served by school.
- SAC members attend meetings only ONCE a month.
- Provides input for the expenditure of school improvement funds.
- Supports school improvement implementation.
- Collects and analyzes information about the community and the school, and receives public input regarding needs of the school. SACs provides ongoing review of the progress being made toward implementation of the School Improvement Plan. SACs evaluates success by monitoring short-term and long-term outcomes..
- SAC reviews and identifies problem areas, develops improvement strategies, monitors their implementation, and then starts the whole process over when the next round of data is available.
