Sunnyvale ISD Welcomes Savannah Hollis as Instructional Coordinator
Sunnyvale ISD is excited to welcome Savannah Hollis as the district’s new K-12 Instructional Coordinator.
“I’m thrilled to now be part of this wonderful community,” Hollis said. “I look forward to serving Sunnyvale families and supporting the district’s continued success.”
With 14 years in public education, Hollis has served as a STEM teacher, department chair, and district-level program director in Forney, Allen, and Richardson ISD. She is eager to guide K-12 math instruction, strengthen curriculum alignment, and help expand Sunnyvale’s Early College High School program.
“I was drawn to this position by the opportunity to work with a strong Teaching and Learning team while supporting the development of Sunnyvale’s Early College High School work,” Hollis said. “The role aligns closely with my passion for creating equitable systems that support meaningful learning and postsecondary readiness for all students.”
Hollis’ achievements include directing Texas’ largest healthcare Early College program, completing a graduate specialization in cognitive neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University, and contributing curriculum to the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in organizational and educational leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join Sunnyvale ISD and contribute to the important work already happening here,” she said. “I look forward to partnering with our teachers, families, and community members as we continue to build on the district’s tradition of excellence.”
