A Message from the Principal:

Welcome Back, Kaplan Elementary Families!

The KES Administration and Staff hope you and your family have had a wonderful summer! We are excited to welcome all of our little Pirates back for another great school year.

I look forward to working with you and your child this year. Our teachers and staff have been preparing throughout the summer to provide a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment where every student can learn and grow. We value the partnership between school and home and encourage you to stay involved in your child's education throughout the year.

We will continue sending a weekly newsletter to keep you informed of upcoming events and important school information. Newsletters are sent through our JCampus system, so if your phone number changes, please contact the school office so we can update your information. We also encourage you to follow the Kaplan Elementary Facebook page and visit our school webpage for the latest news and announcements.

If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact me or a member of our administrative team. We are here to support you and your child in every way we can.

We look forward to a wonderful 2026–2027 school year!

Sincerely,

Lisa Broussard
Principal

Used Uniforms Needed Used Uniforms Needed

Our KES clothing closet is in need of gently used uniforms. These uniforms are used to assist students who need a change of clothes during the school day.

If your child has outgrown their uniforms, we would greatly appreciate your donation. Donations may be dropped off at the front office beginning July 27.

Thank you for helping us care for our students!

🌟 Student Spotlight – Share Your Child's Talents! 🌟 🌟 Student Spotlight – Share Your Child's Talents! 🌟

At KES, our students shine both inside and outside the classroom! Many of our talented students participate in extracurricular activities such as sports, theater, dance, academic competitions, art, STEM, technology, community service, volunteering, and so much more.

This year, we'd love to celebrate these achievements by featuring our students in our parent newsletter! If you would like to spotlight your child or a group of KES students, please send a photo along with a brief description of the activity to lisa.broussard@vpsb.net.

We can't wait to showcase the many ways our KES students are making a difference and sharing their talents!
