Wildcat Weekly- 4/27-5/1

Message from Principal Martinez ๐พ
Dear Wildcat Families:
We had a great first week of testing, an awesome book fair, and a wonderful time seeing you around campus at our first ever "LOL" (Loved Ones Lunch)! We learned much along the way and we appreciate your patience and grace as we take in the feedback and the growing pains of a new event so that we can make our next one even better.
As we welcome the month of May, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued partnership and support of our school community. This time of year is always filled with both excitement and important milestones, and we are grateful to be working alongside you every step of the way.
Our students have been doing an outstanding job during state testing. We are incredibly proud of their focus, perseverance, and positive attitudes. These assessments are an opportunity for students to demonstrate all they have learned this year, and their efforts have truly reflected their dedication. Thank you for helping set them up for success each day by ensuring they are well-rested, on time, and ready to do their best.
May also brings many opportunities for celebration, reflection, and continued learning. Classrooms remain busy with engaging instruction, end-of-year projects, and meaningful connections that make our school such a special place.
Your partnership makes a tremendous difference. Whether itโs supporting learning at home, communicating with teachers, or being present at school events, your involvement strengthens our entire community.
Thank you!

Field Trip Chaperone Procedures
As we prepare for upcoming field trips, we want to ensure a safe and organized experience for all students. Please review the following important chaperone requirements:
- All field trip chaperones must be cleared volunteers prior to the trip. To complete the process, please visit: Pomerado Website/Volunteer Information
- All chaperones are required to sign in at the school office BEFORE the trip begins, regardless of whether you are riding the bus or meeting us at the location.
- There are no exceptions to this requirement.
These procedures are in place to help us maintain student safety and follow required guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation and support in making our field trips successful and enjoyable for everyone. If you have any questions, please contact the school office 858-748-1320.
