End of Year Reminders & Events
Dear Intermediate School Families,
With only a few days left of school, excitement is definitely in the air! We appreciate your support in reminding students to continue making positive choices, showing respect, and following school expectations so we can finish the year strong.
🚫Items from Home
Backpacks are not needed for the remainder of the school year. Students should not bring toys or other distracting items to school. These items interfere with instruction and will be taken up if brought to campus.
🏫Behavior Expectations
We are experiencing an increase in disruptive behaviors on campus. Please remind students to respect others and school property. Failure to follow behavior expectations may result in disciplinary actions, including students losing privileges and end of year incentives that have been planned.
💻Appropriate Technology Use
Student chromebooks are for educational purposes only. Playing games on apps not approved by the school or creating inappropriate profile pictures are not allowed. Students who misuse devices will lose technology privileges.
🎯Attendance Matters
Please continue to send your students to school daily. Students are still working on their last units of instruction, including research and projects. Every minute of instruction counts!

Thank you for helping us create a welcoming environment for our students. Our goal is to finish the year strong with exciting events for everyone to enjoy. Below are the details of the events for the remainder of the year.
- Spring Music Concert - May 18
- 3rd Grade: 1:45-2:30pm
- 4th Grade: 9:45-10:30
- 5th Grade: 8:50-9:35
- STAAR Fest (Fun Day) - May 19 - Students will participate in fun activities throughout the day, including kickball, obstacle course bounce houses, dance parties, games, and more.
- End of Year Awards-May 20 (Invitations will be given to students receiving awards)
- 3rd Grade: 1:15-1:55pm
- 4th Grade: 2:00-2:40pm
- 5th Grade: 2:45-3:25pm
- Last Day of School - May 21
- Senior Walk - PHS Graduates will walk the halls of the campus this morning so students can get a glimpse of their future.
- End of Year Parties - Teachers may provide additional details about afternoon classroom parties.
