Dear Bobcat Families,
It is with great excitement and gratitude that I welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year! I am thrilled to welcome back our returning Bobcats and especially excited to meet the newest members of our Bobcat family! 🖤💛
As I begin another school year, I am reminded of how truly blessed I am to be an educator. For 29 years, I have had the privilege of serving children, families, and communities, and I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every moment of this incredible journey. 💖Every day brings a new opportunity to encourage a child, celebrate a success, overcome a challenge, and make a positive difference in a student's life. It is an honor to serve this wonderful community, and I am grateful for the trust you place in our school. 🏫🍎
Our success depends on the partnership we share with our families and community. Together, we create a strong foundation that allows our students to grow, dream big, and reach their fullest potential. Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and commitment to your children's education. We are truly stronger when we work together. 🙌
I cannot wait to see the smiles in our hallways, hear the laughter in our classrooms, and celebrate the many achievements that await us this year! 😊

90% Attendance Rule/What it means for the 2026-2027 school year.
El Paso ISD 90% attendance requirement will be in effect for the 2026-27 school year.
Students must attend at least 90% of the school days or class periods in order to receive course credit or a final grade, as required by Texas law.
For Elementary students, missing more than 17 days during a typical school year may affect whether they automatically can earn credit or a final grade.
In middle and high school, attendance is tracked by individual class periods each semester, so repeatedly missing the same class can become an issue even if a student attends school the rest of the day. In middle school, missing a class more than 8 times in the Fall semester or more than 9 times in spring semester will result in loss of credit. In high school as students are on an A/B schedule, missing a class more than 4 times in a semester will result in loss of credit.
If you have any questions or for further information please contact your campus.
