Please join us for a festive evening at the Bowers Farm! This 21+ event is the perfect opportunity to connect with IA Okma teachers, staff, and fellow families while enjoying dinner, drinks, and a silent auction.

The funds raised from this event will go towards teacher grants, ensuring our educators have the resources they need to enhance the learning experience for all students.

We are excited to announce that we will be holding a Voter Registration Drive for students ages 16 and up on Monday, September 23rd, and Tuesday, September 24th. This is a great opportunity for eligible students to take an important step toward civic engagement and prepare for their future as voters!

If your child wishes to register, please remind them to bring the following to school:

• Driver’s License or State ID
• The last four digits of their Social Security Number

These items are necessary to complete the registration process.

We are proud to offer this chance for our students to get involved in shaping their communities, and we appreciate your support in ensuring they come prepared. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Ms. Rabourn at erabourn@bloomfield.org.

Thank you for helping us empower the next generation of voters!

The College Board has awarded Bear Thompson an award certificate for the National African American Recognition Program. The National Recognition program highlights students who, in 10th and 11th grades, perform well on standardized tests including the SAT, AP exams, and have strong GPAs; and identify as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Indigenous or Native.
