Immersion Education – Teaching academic content in another language

Hello Fronteras Families!

Wow, the year is actually over! We always wonder how it happens so quickly? It has been an honor and privilege to work with your children. Thank you for sharing them with us!

We had several awesome celebrations this week:

· On Monday, we hooted and hollered when 2nd grade student, Jack Hughes, was announced as the state finalist in the Doodle for Google Art contest! We are so proud of and excited for Jack!

· On Tuesday, we celebrated our 40 adorable Kindergarteners as they graduated to First Grade! That ceremony is one of the best events we hold! Great job Srta. Husmann & Sr. Onfray!

· On Wednesday, we applauded our 8th graders as they promoted out of Fronteras and onto high school! It’s such a special day for those students, as it launches them into their next big step in life!

· Today we will filled our campus with joy and laughter - the best way to end a successful school year! Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to set up, take down, supervise activities, and prepare lunch! We could not offer such a fun Field Day without your help! And braving the cloudy & drizzly weather makes you even more wonderful! J

Wishing you a phenomenal summer break! We look forward to seeing you in August!

Most Sincerely,

Mrs. Hutchins

“A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing, and the lawn mower is broken.” – Said no man, ever. Just kidding! James Dent said it.

Happy Summer to Everyone!
