Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures
As at all schools, Drop Off and Pick Up can get very congested (especially pick up). With your help, we can make sure that this process goes smoothly and more importantly safely (see diagram below). There is only one lane of entry from each direction into the main parking lot. Do not try to cut in line due to impatience. Coming from the north (turning right into the lot), please stay on the inside lane. Coming from the south (turning left into the lot), please stay in the outside lane. Please do not attempt to enter in the exit lane and go the wrong way into the parking lot. Students may be dropped off in ONLY ONE LOCATION from either lane. That location is the rolling gate next to the Multipurpose Room. This is the only drop off point for ALL students in our main lot. Please always exercise caution and look out for students walking in the parking lot. Inform your scholars to make sure to make eye contact with drivers prior to crossing over the inside lane if you are dropping them off from the outside lane. You may also drop students off in the parking lot of our neighbor to the north, Elkhorn Bible Church. If students are dropped off or picked up in the church lot, make sure that they do not enter or exit through the staff parking lot gate. They may enter through the front pedestrian gate facing Davis Road near the crosswalk. Please do not ever drop off or pick up directly in front of the school or in front of or in the staff parking lot (located on the church side of school). Students who walk or ride their bikes that come from the south shall enter and exit through the gate at the Southeast corner of the school (located under the large oak in our field). Students walking or riding their bikes from the north will use the same gate as those dropped off in the church lot. During pick up ALL Students will be waiting by the rolling gate. If you choose to pick up your students from the church lot or across Davis Road, they will wait in front of the office until their rides have arrived. It is very important that all traffic laws are followed. Students crossing Davis Road at dismissal, must cross with the aid of the crossing guard. Please do not turn left out of our parking lot. This is not only for safety, but people attempting to turn left cause congestion in our lot and slow the process significantly. Always use turn signals and the utmost caution. Never do U-turns in front of the school. When all Elkhorn families follow our procedures, drop of and pick up run much more smoothly and most importantly more safely.

Data Confirmation
We are excited to announce that again this year, families will be able to verify their child's elementary school teacher and secondary school class schedule through our online data confirmation process. Parents who have completed the online data confirmation will be able to access this information. 7th and 8th grade class schedules are now complete.
Why it matters:
- Families will only be able to view their child’s schedule or teacher assignment after completing ODC.
- We are also using Online Data Confirmation to help determine which schools qualify for Title I funding.
- For every student whose family completes ODC and identifies as low income, our district receives approximately $2,500 in additional LCFF funding. This funding directly supports programs and services at our school sites.
- Your continued support can help us secure even more funding in the future!
We encourage all parents to complete the online data confirmation process by following the instructions in the flyer below.
