Dear Summit Hill Parents, Guardians, and Students,

We finally made it through October! Whew! We are now in the Holiday season where everything is geared towards kindness, thankful, and generosity. I have included a November calendar of events below; however, as we are presented with a need, we typically act quickly. I will send out information through a newsletter or your teachers will send through SeeSaw. Please know that SeeSaw is the mode of communication that I have asked all of my teachers to use. If you are not signed up, please contact your teacher to get signed up before you miss out on what's happening on campus.

November 18-22 is American Education Week. This is a week where we celebrate public education and show our appreciation for staff members on campus. I have added a daily appreciation idea for you to use if you would like. Just know that our staff would love any type of appreciation you want to spread.

I personally want to thank you for your support each and every day. SHE is the place to be because of our amazing parents, guardians, and families.

December 20 - Holiday Class Parties

• Each student can have 2 people sign up to attend their class party. Sign up form will be in the December Sunny Insight
• A schedule for each class party will be released in the December Sunny Insight

Congratulations to the House of Givers for winning the Soctober Sock Drive! Summit Hill collected a total of 863 pairs of socks benefiting the Grayson Crisis Center. We are so proud of each House for collaborating with Howe Intermediate and making donations to those in need.

ATTENTION!!! I have several students that brought shirt money today. I will extend the deadline to tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5th. If you want to order a shirt for your student, please send it tomorrow morning. If you have lost the order form, click on the image below to print OR write your student's information to give to your teacher. All orders will be finalized and placed tomorrow morning.

The 2nd 9-weeks will end on Friday, December 20th and all report cards are now available on Parent Portal. We will not send home a paper copy of your student's report card.

Also, if your student is absent, please send a parent note or contact our front office and inform them of your student's absence. You must send a note to the school in order to get absences excused. You can also scan or take a picture of the note and email it to the school.
