ECE and Kindergarten Bus Procedures
To help ensure the safety of our youngest students, an adult must be present at the bus stop for all ECE and Kindergarten drop-offs. If a parent/guardian is not available, the driver will bring the student back to school in order to maintain on time bus routes and keep other students on the bus safe and on schedule. If your child is brought back to school, office staff will contact the family to arrange for pick-up.
This procedure will begin on Monday, April 13, 2026. We appreciate your support in helping our buses stay on schedule and ensuring a smooth and safe dismissal process for all students.

GO PANTHERS!
Joan Jung - 1st Grade
Tell us about your family.
My husband, Lucy (10), Emmett (9), and I make up the Jung Family with our newest addition- Kylo our family dog. We moved to Richmond the year I started at Prairie Grove 5 years ago and we couldn’t have been happier!
What is something that makes you really proud?
Everything in my life. I know that seems like the “got-to” answer, but I feel like wherever we are in our season in life, our family keeps on trucking!
What is your favorite hobby?
I have played way too much Mario Odyssey with my family during spring break, baking, and eating!
What is your favorite food?
I love to have variety when I eat- so anything and everything is good for me!
What is something you have learned lately?
I thought that a dog was easier than a newborn. Taking care of a dog is no joke! I have not slept in past 6am since October 25th, 2025. SOS.
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
I’m not sure. A bird to get to places faster, but I am afraid of heights. 🤷♀️
What is your favorite thing about Prairie Grove?
I love the people & families I meet at PG. Once they walk through my door, they are a part of my work family. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE bumping into them during PG functions and seeing how they have grown!
Paiton Wood-SPED
Tell us about your family.
My family growing up consisted of my mom, dad, and younger brother. In addition to them I am a gecko named Tiger. My boyfriend Andrew, who was an army mechanic that just finished his contract last Christmas and is permanently home!
What is something that makes you really proud?
I have been learning how to cook more foods recently! I have always loved baking but hated cooking dinners. I have been trying new recipes and changing up my palate, hopefully dinners will be more enjoyable now.
What is your favorite hobby?
If I had to narrow it down, I enjoy spending time with family and being outdoors the most! I love spending time outside, and getting some fresh air.
What is your favorite food?
Sushi is by far my favorite!
What is something you have learned lately?
I have learned how important it is to make time for myself and family. I have always spent time with family, but we were able to set specific nights aside for family dinners every week. It has been so nice to watch my brother grow this past year while he attends college!
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
If I had to choose, I would choose a dog or a shark. Sharks are one of my favorite animals, I find them fascinating to learn about and watch how they navigate around the ocean. However, I think I would want to be a dog more. They are very loyal and family oriented. It always brightened my day when my dog greeted me after school.
What is your favorite thing about Prairie Grove?
I love the community and staff here at Prairie Grove! Everyone is so supportive and caring of one another!
